Q. How do I calculate the estimated metal weight from my wax?

A. The metal weight will be approximately 22 times the wax weight including the small allowance for your sprue stub.

Q. What is your turnaround time?

A. Our basic process requires 3 business days, with shipment to you on the 4th business day. Upon request, rush turnarounds are available with shipment on the 3rd working day at no extra charge.

Q. Should I sprue the wax?

A. No spruing is necessary. Due to the specific flow and solidification properties of platinum, we prefer to do our own spruing to assure quality.

Q. Do you cast from Rapid Prototype patterns?

A. Yes, in fact we specialize in working with RP patterns and can cast direct from all materials used in the industry. Due to our unique shell system, we do not need to make rubber molds from RP patterns before casting.

Q. How do you return the casting to me?

A. We ship everything by FedEx — either overnight or 2 Day.

Q. What are your payment options?

A. You can set up an account by filling out our credit application or we can charge your casting to Visa or Mastercard. If you are rated favorably by JBT, you are instantly approved for credit.
